This sounds like a lovely recipe of rainy days and during high stress times. Thank you for this one too!
Do you know where one can purchase dried Mimosa flowers online?
Mountain Rose Herbs should have them.
mountainroseherbs.com
I’ve been trying to find a quality source for dried Mimosa flowers for over a year. Mountain Rose does not carry them. If you know of a source, please let me know.
Thank you.
Just grow a tree yourself, they are really cool and grow fast. Got as big as my 2 story house for about 6 7 years. And everyone that comes to visit me comments on it.
Greetings from Ohio! I’m bored to death at work so I decided to browse your website on my iphone during lunch break. I love the info you present here and can’t wait to take a look when I get home. I’m surprised at how quick your blog loaded on my phone .. I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyways, fantastic site!
Is this a flower from a mimosa tree, or the mimosa plant? If from the tree can you use fresh mimosa flowers, or only dried? We have a beautiful mimosa tree in out yard, and I’d love to learn more about their healing properties. Thanks!
It’s the flower from the mimosa tree and you can use fresh or dried. Main thing is be careful when collecting along side a road where car exhaust can contaminate the flowers. How lucky that you have a mimosa tree in your yard! Thanks for the comment, ~Lana Farson
This sounds very soothing and tasty. I am beginning to build our own home apothecary and will make sure to keep mimosa flower in stock! Life pressures and stress come and go. I want to make sure I am always prepared to naturally deal with them – sharing this knowledge and concoctions with family and friends.
Thanks for your post.
